Simon Learns is built for children ages 2 to 8 and their families. We take privacy seriously and have designed the app to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Apple's Kids Category guidelines, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — including the GDPR-K provisions for children.

This data is removed when the app is uninstalled or when the parent uses Settings → Reset Progress within the app.
If a user has opted in to share analytics with app developers at the iOS level (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymized, aggregated crash and performance reports with us. This data does not contain personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve app stability.
Simon Learns does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, social media SDKs, or data brokers. We do not embed third-party content that profiles users.
Simon Learns is currently offered free of charge with no in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced in the future, all transactions will be processed by Apple. Parental controls and Ask-to-Buy will apply per Apple's standard policies, and we will update this policy before any purchase flow is added.
Because no personal information is collected from any user, including children, Simon Learns does not require verifiable parental consent under COPPA or GDPR-K for data collection. Parents always remain in control of the device and may uninstall the app or reset progress at any time.

Data stored locally is protected by the standard iOS sandbox and the device's hardware-backed security. Any future network communication will use industry-standard TLS encryption.
Simon Learns is available globally. Because we do not collect personal data, no cross-border data transfers occur. Local laws (such as GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and CCPA) continue to apply, and users in those regions retain all rights provided by their local law — including the right to access, correct, and delete personal data — though in practice we hold none.
If we ever change how data is handled — for example, by introducing optional features that require data — we will update this page, update the "Last updated" date above, and surface the change in the app before it takes effect.
